Fitness has been a cornerstone of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, training gave me more than just physical strength — it taught me discipline, work ethic, toughness, confidence, and passion. These life lessons shaped who I am, and now I’m committed to helping others discover the same through purposeful, personalized training.

As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, I specialize in fitness programs designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and live healthier. Whether your goal is to build muscle, improve posture, increase mobility, or recover from injury, every session is tailored specifically to your body, your goals, and your lifestyle.

My approach blends science-backed strength training, corrective exercises, and functional movement to ensure sustainable results and injury prevention. There’s no one-size-fits-all here — just coaching that adapts to you.

If you’re ready to take control of your health and unlock your full potential, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I spent my youth and adolescent years playing competitive soccer. After high school at Blue Valley Northwest, I went straight into the corporate world. Even as a full time working woman at that time, my passion always lied within the fitness world.

Over 10 years ago, I started my fitness journey with Crossfit, endurance, half marathon, and competitive kettlebell training. I take pride in my ability to encourage and lift others to push to reach their goals. I have found the fitness community to be the whole package for mind, body, and soul. My true passion is you! Listen and understand current strengths, weaknesses, and worries in your journey to build the best, most successful plan. I hold a certification as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and currently working toward becoming a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach.

Outside of the gym, I spend my time with my wonderful husband and two sweet, yet wild red-headed toddlers. I look forward to having them grow up learning and watching their Mom be a positive influence for others.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University and earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. My passion for fitness and performance has always been a driving force in my life. As a former Kansas State women’s basketball practice player and current Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete, I’ve come to appreciate the power of pushing limits—both physically and mentally. That mindset fuels my work with clients every day.

I’m especially drawn to helping others unlock their potential, whether they’re recovering from injury, looking to move better, or chasing peak athletic performance. I love working with young athletes in particular, blending clinical expertise with on-the-ground coaching experience to help them thrive on the field, the court, and in life. My mission is simple: to meet people where they are, help them discover what they’re capable of, and support them every step of the way as they push beyond it.

Fitness has been a part of my life from the very beginning. Growing up with a mom (on the right->) who’s been a group fitness and wellness expert for over 15 years, I’ve spent countless hours immersed in the gym environment. That early exposure shaped my passion for movement, discipline, and the power of community.

I’m currently earning my NASM Personal Training Certification and hold a 200-hour yoga teacher certification through PowerLife, which I completed in the spring of 2024. Since then, I’ve been actively teaching and helping others build strength, mobility, and mindfulness.

My special interests include CrossFit, basketball, soccer, and yoga—each of which has taught me something different about the body and mind. I believe that true fitness goes beyond appearance. It’s about creating a deep mind/body/soul connection and learning to listen to what you truly need.

My approach starts with discovering your “why”—because when you have a reason to show up every day, you’re no longer just working out, you’re showing up for yourself. I aim to create a space that’s focused, motivating, and deeply personal to each client’s journey.

I’m a Master’s-level physiologist with over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness field, blending insights from strength coaching, metabolic testing, sport nutrition, psychology, and both medical and naturopathic practices. I’ve worked with organizations like the Kansas Centers for Physical Activity and Aging, Velocity Sports Performance, Lifetime Fitness, the U.S. Armed Forces Wellness Center, Kansas City Family Medical Care, and Elite Physicals—giving me a wide lens on how to help people across all walks of life.

During my time at Velocity, I authored the user manual and business model for the NewLeaf metabolic testing system, which became central to their adult fitness program. At Lifetime and the Wellness Center, I led the nation in performance outcomes by applying metabolic data directly into my clients’ programs. Over the last decade, I’ve developed systems that objectively evaluate health and performance, helping people connect their genetic potential to real-world results.

I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Exercise Science from Wichita State University, along with certifications from the NSCA and Precision Nutrition. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my wife Laurie and our growing family—or out on a motorcycle ride around Kansas City.

“Self-discipline is when your conscience tells you to do something and you don’t talk back.” – W.K. Hope

Whether it’s weight loss, sports performance, or simply getting in better shape—discipline is the way forward. Let’s get you there.

In high school, discipline took me from a C-team athlete to the state Track & Field meet in one season. I was physically fit—but not emotionally. When life hit, I quit for five years.

Eventually, I got tired—of being winded on stairs and of knowing I was letting myself go. One night, I signed up for a gym and re-learned how to train. Five years later, I’ve built the body and mindset I once lost—and now I help others do the same.

I've lived the struggle. I’ve done the research. I’ve earned the certification. Now it’s your turn.

Let’s get to work.

For me, health and wellbeing aren’t just what I teach—they’ve been the center of my life for the past eight years. I have over 400 hours of yoga training and have been practicing for eight years. Along the way, I’ve also trained in Reiki I and II and explored many different healing modalities.

My own path has been one of deep healing—physically, mentally, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. That journey has given me a passion for supporting others, especially women, in learning how to come home to themselves.

I believe the reclamation of our path begins with awareness- and I find such joy in helping others to know thyself. As the Buddhist proverb says, “The lotus flower blooms most beautifully from the deepest and thickest mud.” My life has shown me the truth of that, and it’s the spirit I bring to my teaching and my work.

I’ve been swinging clubs since I was three years old, when my love for golf first took root. That early passion fueled a competitive journey that led to victories at every level, from junior tournaments to professional events. A highlight of my career came in 2013 when I claimed the title of Illinois Open Champion, a testament to years of dedication and hard work. From 2005 to 2010, I proudly represented Kansas State University’s men’s golf team, competing with heart and honing my skills against top collegiate talent.

My approach to the game is about blending the data heavy world we live in with the artistic approach required to shoot lower scores.

Golf has shaped my life, and I continue to chase excellence on the course, driven by the same enthusiasm that gripped me as a kid. If you’re serious about changing your life and improving your game, the Gray Wolf Performance Golf Program is for you!
